Barรงa did not follow in the footsteps of their Madrid rival.
This Thursday evening, Barรงa traveled to Racing Santander's field for the Copa del Rey round of 16.
Following Real Madrid's elimination, everyone wanted to know if the Catalans would stumble in their turn.
That was not the case. Despite a very enterprising and dangerous Santander team, the Barcelona players were able to rely on goals from Ferran Torres (66') and Lamine Yamal (90'+5) to escape the trap set by the second division team.
Thanks to this victory, FC Barcelona qualifies for the next round, just like Valencia who faced Burgos tonight (0-2).
