LPGA and TMRW Sports Partner to Launch Women's TGL League
Building on the success of the innovative TGL indoor golf league, the LPGA and TMRW Sports have announced the creation of the Women's TGL (WTGL), set to debut in the winter of 2026-27.
The new league will mirror the format of the men's TGL (Tomorrow Golf League), which launched last winter with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy as co-founders. Played in the state-of-the-art SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida, the format features teams competing on virtual courses displayed on massive screens, with real putting greens and short-game areas. The fast-paced, primetime matches run approximately two hours, with players mic'd up for enhanced fan engagement.
“Partnering with TMRW Sports on WTGL reflects our belief that innovation can help the game reach new fans and create greater visibility for LPGA athletes,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler. “I’ve seen how new formats can engage audiences while showcasing both athlete personality and performance, and WTGL brings that spirit of innovation to the women’s game."
The inaugural men's league attracted a roster of top stars, including Woods, McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, and Xander Schauffele. While the WTGL announcement did not reveal specific player commitments, the league is expected to feature many of the LPGA's premier talents.
The launch of a dedicated women's league, rather than integrating a single team into the existing men's structure, marks a significant investment in creating a distinct, high-profile platform for LPGA stars and expanding golf's audience through an innovative, entertainment-focused product.
