‘What should I do?’: Bryson DeChambeau asks followers about PGA Tour decision
Bryson DeChambeau has a decision to make.
The two-time U.S. Open champion posted on his Instagram story Tuesday afternoon asking his followers a simple, but complex, question. "What should I do," the post read, with DeChambeau standing with his palms up next to an exit sign.

The choice is returning to the PGA Tour, made possible by Monday's announcement of the Returning Member Program. PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp announced the program, which provides players "elite performance-based criteria" on their resumes a path back. The arrangement also calls for "severe yet appropriate financial consequences" that must be accepted by the returning player.
Brooks Koepka, who left LIV last month, is the first player to take advantage of the Returning Member Program and will make his return later this month at the Farmers Insurance Open. Only three others meet the criteria: DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith.
DeChambeau is without a doubt the biggest name of the bunch. He's one of golf's most popular players thanks to his content creation on YouTube and other social media platforms. His value to LIV Golf after Koepka's departure is invaluable. But with an option to return to the PGA Tour, a choice he must make by Feb. 2, he's once again using social media to get the opinions of his fans.
After Koepka's departure, DeChambeau already had plenty of power at the negotiating table when it came to extending his current LIV contract, which expires at the end of this year. With the PGA Tour also providing him a pathway back, it's likely he could ask for an infinite amount of money to stay at LIV Golf if he wanted to.
But at the end of the day, it could come down to what DeChambeau's priorities are. He is in the prime of his career, but his passion for content creation has become a focal point of his routine. Will he be able to create whatever content he wants if he comes back to the PGA Tour?
That could be a big factor in his decision. And for he, Rahm and Smith, we'll know by early next month of their choices.
